ACU British Flat track Championship Registration
Welcome to the registration for the 2026 ACU British Flat Track Championship.
Firstly we have listed below the rules and regs for each class, then further down you'll be able to register for the series. If you wish to register for two classes, please choose the highest cost option, then add your second class to the notes section
(explained below) and you will get it free of charge.
You will also need to add your first and second choice of riding number when you register please use the following instructions:-

3.2 MAIN FLAT TRACK and WOMENS CLASSES - Supplementary Motorcycle Standards
a) Engine Displacement 2 stroke 125cc to 500cc, 4 stroke 250cc – unlimited ( any rider under 16 must be assessed and approved to ride above 250cc 2 stroke and 4 stroke machines, applicable to Womens and Pro Lites classes)
b) Besides the compulsory adjustments, alterations may be applied to the frame and the appearance of the machine
c) Front forks must not protrude more than 5cm above the upper attachment of the suspension
d) The rear wheel must be able to stop instantly, so an efficient braking system on the rear wheel is mandatory
e) Front wheel brakes are prohibited and all components relating to a front brake must be removed
f) A 19” Flat Track tyre must be used front and rear. Tyre cutting is NOT permitted
g) The rear sprocket should be guarded with a shark fin type protector
h) The gearbox sprocket mut be suitably protected
i) Only fuel that can be purchased from a roadside petrol station is permitted
j) A lanyard type cut-out must be fitted to all machines
k) Foot pegs should be in their original position on the frame or no lower than the frame itself
l) The noise level of any machine must not exceed 114dBA at 2 meters Max Method
CLASS RULES
8.1 Mini-Bike Stock Class
• Open to Honda CRF100, Honda CRF125, Suzuki DRZ125 ,Yamaha TTR125, Kawasaki KLX 140 bikes only.
• Bikes must be standard; no engine modifications, no exhaust modifications, no air box modifications and no carburettor modifications (other than jetting). Handlebars and sprocket sizes can be changed.ont Brake levers must be removed, but, other front brake components can remain.
• Any tyres are permitted.
• Lanyard cut-outs are recommended, or compulsory push button kill switch
• Youth Junior Class
• Riders aged 7-11 years of age on the 1st January
• Bikes up to 65cc 2-stroke or 150cc air cooled 4-stroke
• Front Brakes and all components must be removed
• Any wheel sizes and tyres are permitted
• Lanyard cut-outs are recommended, or compulsory push button kill switch
8.2 Youth Inter Class
Riders aged 12-15 years of age on the 1st January.
• Bikes up to 85cc 2-stroke or 160cc 4-Stroke
• Front Brakes and all components must be removed
• Any wheel sizes and tyres are permitted
• Lanyard cut-outs are recommended, or compulsory push button kill switch
8.3 Pro Lites
Riders aged 14 -17 years of age on the 1st of January
Engine Displacement 4 stroke 250cc
Besides the compulsory adjustments, alterations may be applied to the frame
Front forks must not protrude more than 5cm above the upper attachment of the suspension
The rear wheel must be able to stop instantly, so an efficient braking system on the rear wheel is mandatory
Front wheel brakes are prohibited and all components relating to a front brake removed

8.7 Twins Class
• Bikes must have an engine displacement of 600cc to unlimited and have two cylinders or more.
• Front Brakes and all components must be removed
• Flat Track tyres must be used.
• Lanyard cut-outs must be fitted.
8.8 Vintage Class
• Pre-1985 Bikes only (i.e. up to and including 1984)
• Bikes must be air-cooled
• All Major components to have been available before 1985
• Flat Track tyres must be used.
• Front Brakes and all components must be removed
• Lanyard cut-outs must be fitted.
3.3 Racing Numbers
There must be 3 clearly displayed number boards, one on the front, one on the left hand side and one on the right hand side.
These events are staged under the ACU Track Racing Regulations and SCB Speedway Regulations and organised by the British Speedway Promoters Ltd.
